Pet sitting in Wivelsfield
It’s always lovely for us to have a dog each while house sitting, especially when the dogs are so affectionate! While dog sitting in Wivelsfield Green with Cockapoos Hattie and Baxter, each of them gravitated towards the person that matched their personality, so we naturally had a buddy each! Older boy Baxter’s calm and gentle nature meant he appreciated lots of cuddles and quiet time at home, mostly spending his time curled up with Suze. Hattie’s playfulness and love of running around the park meant she spent most of her time with Chris as the two of them played endless games of chase and fetch! Despite the dogs having their favourites, we loved spending our time with both of them equally and their loving temperaments meant we were never short on cuddles and Cockapoo kisses!
Baxter’s patchy recall meant that his owners asked us to keep him on lead whenever we took the dogs out on walkies. Luckily he didn’t mind being on his lead at all, though it didn’t stop him wandering as far as his flexi-lead would allow while he was on the hunt for the source of super interesting scents!
Hattie had excellent recall and would come sprinting to us as soon as we called her – even if there were birds to chase on our woodland walkies! We’d make sure that both she and Baxter had an equal amount of exercise each day, even running along with Baxter on his lead so that he could enjoy a good run alongside Hattie! On occasion we’d take both dogs to a local enclosed dog park so that Baxter could benefit from some time off lead.
At home, both dogs were real snugglers and would curl up on the sofa with us in the evenings for cuddles. Although they had their own beds to sleep in upstairs, each morning we’d find that both Hattie and Baxter had crept up onto our bed during the night, trying to be as close to us as possible! They were a real joy to care for, and we can’t wait to see them both again soon!

Extremely caring and considerate
Chris and Suze are the perfect pet and home sitters. They’ve sat for our two dogs a number of times now and we couldn’t be happier leaving them in our home with our beloved pups. They’re extremely caring, considerate and always send wonderful and reassuring ‘pupdates’ while we are away. Not to mention, leaving the house spotlessly clean and tidy upon our return home. We are so thrilled to have stumbled across these guys and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy people to care for their furry friends!
