Pet sitting in Ely
As travelling pet sitters, one of the benefits of our job is exploring parts of the UK we’ve never visited before. We loved our stays with Cockapoo Archie in Ely, and he enjoyed showing us around his hometown! Archie was definitely one of the friendliest dogs we’ve ever cared for and from the moment we arrived for our first pet sit with him, he bonded with us straightaway. He responded well to us on our daily walkies past Ely cathedral, along the canal and throughout the park, where he’d chase after his ball endlessly.
During one stay we took Archie for a walk around the estate at Ickworth House, where we explored the beautiful paths through the woodland and across fields.
As we were pet sitting near Cambridge, during another December stay with Archie we headed into the city for a lovely festive day together. Cambridge is incredibly dog-friendly and we didn’t get around very fast purely because everybody wanted to stop and say hello to Archie, and he wanted to say hello too!
Back at home, Archie would spend hours curled up on the sofa with us watching films and having a cuddle, or playing with his toys. He’d even fall asleep lying across the back of the sofa, which was his favourite place to perch – even snoozing on Chris’ head! Archie was a delight to care for and we feel so fortunate that we were able to come and stay with him.

Very professional and experienced
We cannot recommend Chris and Suze enough if you need pet sitting services for any pet. They looked after our dog Archie and house whilst we were away. It was the first time we had left Archie and used any form of pet sitting services so we were concerned he would settle ok. They are very professional and experienced. Archie actually loved his week with them. We appreciated the updates and lovely photos they sent us which put our minds at rest whilst away. The house was all cleaned and prepared for our return. We would not hesitate to use them again.
