Pet sitting in Cirencester
We love visiting the gorgeous Cotswolds so we were very pleased to be invited for dog sitting in Cirencester with Labradors Tala and Pepper. We’ve explored a lot of the area but had never previously visited Cirencester, so were delighted that Tala and Pepper were keen to show us around their hometown as we explored the characterful streets together, stopping in at bakeries and pubs during our stay and admiring the beautiful Cotswolds stonework.
For our daily walkies we’d mostly head to Cirencester Park, a sprawling 3,000 acre site perfect for off lead walkies. There’s a wide open path cutting directly through the Park with grass on either side, as well as lots of winding trails thought the woodlands – all perfect for Tala and Pepper to enjoy a good run around. Two year old Tala would run after a ball all day if we’d let her, sprinting for miles as we threw balls across the Park for her. Ten year old Pepper much preferred to gently sniff her way along the edge of the path, staying by our sides as she sought out interesting scents.
The River Churn runs through fields just a stone’s throw from Tala and Pepper’s home, so on warmer days we’d take the girls for a swim! Pepper thrives in water and loved chasing toys we threw into shallow parts of the river for her. We played endless games of fetch, throwing a ball each for the girls in different directions so they both had a chance to reach them first.
Back at home, even after lots of swimming and running around, Tala would still love to play fetch in the garden! Eventually though, both girls would crash out and snooze in their beds or in an armchair by the kitchen, never too far from us. We really feel we bonded with them during our stay, and we loved having them show us around!

Our girls were so very happy with them
Having followed them on socials for a little while, we were lucky to get Chris and Suze when they unexpectedly had some availability which fitted in with us. All the communication with them was prompt, professional and friendly. They arrived before we left for an intro and we quickly felt reassured about leaving our home and our girls with them - Labradors aged 2 and almost 10. We had lovely updates and some gorgeous photos which are a delight. Our girls were so very happy with them. The house was well looked after and I would absolutely recommend them. Thank you Chris and Suze.
