Pet sitting in Beaconsfield
Before we began house sitting, we had never previously visited Beaconsfield. We’re happy to say that we’ve now competed multiple house sits in this beautiful area! Our first pet sit in Beaconsfield was with handsome Airedale Terrier, Winston. While we only spent a few days together, we wanted to cram in as much fun together as possible! We took Winston to explore the grounds at Cliveden House, where he loved walking through the shady woodland and sniffing around the flora, before coming back around to admire the stunning architecture of the House.
Back at home, Winston followed us everywhere, always wanting to be involved in anything we were doing! He loved performing the perfect sit in exchange for his favourite treat – carrot sticks – and would love to roll over for a good neck scratch. When he was feeling playful, he’d chase after his teddy bear in the garden, or excitably try to chew on Chris’ beard!

While house sitting in Penn, we cared for sweet Vizsla Frank. He was a really sensitive soul, and loved to climb up on the sofa for cuddles with us. On occasion, he would even bark and sprint across the living room to us if we dared to curl up without him! He’d also take Chris’ shoes to bed with him each night so it’s safe to say we formed a real bond over our time together. He’d lead the way on our leafy walkies through the woodlands surrounding his house, where the frosty Autumn mornings made for perfect pawtraits in the mist. We’re always glad when there are networks of public footpaths right on the doorstep at house sits, so we can change up our walking routine and find new places to explore each day.
